Spreading the Love...a Thank You from Soroptimist International
On behalf of our entire organization and the survivors that we serve, we would like to thank you for your generous financial support.
Because of Soroptimist International Lake Oswego/West Linn Club, Bradley Angle was able to help 495 adults and children in 2021. We housed 120 survivors in our shelter, assisted 168 to access housing, provided 122 Black/African American and 40 LGBTQ+ survivors with culturally specific support, and offered financial education, matched savings programs, scholarships, and internships opportunities to 98 clients. None of this would have been possible without your support.
We continue to innovate in 2022, COVID notwithstanding; we’re offering a credit building initiative as most survivors must deal with financial abuse and are expanding our preventative efforts. Needed shelter renovations will occur as budgets allow. To that end we will host 2 inaugural events: the Albina Scavenger Hunt in March and GlamHy Awards in August. Both have fundraising components, but more importantly, have domestic violence awareness goals.
It’s going to be another good year together! To learn more about Soroptimist International, visit https://www.soroptimist.org/
